Excel button in Peachtree is grayed out
In order to use the Excel button in Peachtree, you will need to have Microsoft Excel 97, 2000, 2002 or 2003 installed.
Peachtree Release 2002 and 2003 have been tested and work with Excel 97, 2000, and 2002.
Peachtree Release 2004 works with Excel 97-2003
Peachtree Release 2005 works with Excel 2000-2003
If you are using Release 2002, 2003 or 2004 and Excel 97-2003 or using Release 2005 and Excel 2000-2003, then you can perform the following steps:
- Right click on the name of the report in the Select A Report window
- Select Excel from the menu that appears
Note: The information from the Peachtree report will be exported to Excel. You may need to make formatting changes to the data in Excel as additional steps on your own. Formatted reports created in Excel cannot be imported back into Peachtree.
