File System Error 3 or 95
When one of these errors are received, it is normally caused by the program being terminated abnormally. In order to resolve the problem, you will need to reboot your computer.
Error 95 means the session is no longer valid, or there is an error that interrupted the session. Depending on the task you are undertaking in Peachtree when you Ctrl + Alt + Del to get out, you may get error 3 or 95.
If you have ended a task on a process such as an integrity check, posting, or closing a year then you must restore backup or have the data repaired by www.MyPeachtreeData.com.
If the computer locks up while posting, you will need to restart the computer. Anytime you End Task on Peachtree during a post you will need to change to batch posting and post all journals. This can cause the errer Period changed to XXXX due to unposted entries later.
