These services are normally available as one day turn around.  It depends upon the size of your Peachtree data files and the function you need us to perform.  Most companies submit their data for weekend service; this allows them with less down time.

The process involves sending us a copy of our current Peachtree Company's data, in form of a Peachtree Backup, transferring the backup using this web site.  When our work is completed you will receive an email with a link to download your changed data.  Then using your Peachtree Software you restore the new backup file.

Change fiscal periods without rebuilding your company

- If you need to change your fiscal periods, you are required to rebuild your company.  This is a slow and very painful process.  Most of the time this requires a Peachtree Technician to perform the operation.  Problems occur when there are special characters within your data, invalid or missing default information, certain transactions may have been purged.  DataSoft take a whole new approach to this process.  When completed the only item that you might have to address is adjusting your beginning balances. 

Peachtree freezes when entering transactions

- this is mostly due the amount of transactions being applied to either a customer or vendor.  Purging does not normally solve this problem.  Our Data Scrubbing Service fixes this issue so you can continue your daily work.

Open Purchase Orders or Sales Order in Closed Years

- this normally causes problems with trying to close your fiscal year or upgrading to a newer version of Peachtree Software.  We can close any type of transaction in any period.

Moving or merging transactions to different Accounts IDs

- we are able to move or merge your existing transactions to different maintaine accounts.  Example, you have two checking accounts and wish to move all transactions from one to the other. Then delete the old account (if requested).  This can be done with all maintenance records, including General Ledger and Job Cost.  Transactions may be certain date ranges, ID or range of reference numbers, you specify the criteria.

Deleting Maintenance Items or transactions that Peachtree will not allow you to delete.

- we are able to delete any type of transaction or maintenance record.  Just tell us which ones and they will be gone.

Inventory reports and evaluations are incorrect

- This problem can be solved by our special utilities that rebuild all inventory transactions and adjustments.

Duplicate reference or missing reference error messages

- These errors normally show up when trying to purge or running data verification.  They cause Peachtree to stop its current process and move onto the next step.  When this happens your system will be out of balance and the system integrity is damaged.  Running data verification again will not solve this problem.

Unable to change accounting periods or fiscal year

- These road blocks will happen when transactions are out of sync.  Normally running data verification will not solve this problem.  You may also experience footing errors, all due to prior file damage or missing corresponding transaction entries.
